Add up to 10-grams cocoa powder for a deeper flavor. As written it has a mild cocoa flavor. Sweetener is not necessary but it can be added depending on how sweet you like your cake!
Add all dry ingredients into a cereal sized bowl or big mug, mix well.
Add applesauce and milk, mix.
Microwave 2 minutes and 30 seconds stopping after 1-2 minutes to check if done.
Serve with whipped cream, ice cream, or fresh berries.
I used ON 100% Whey but other whey/casein based protein powders should also work.
